RTC '23-'24

How nice that you want to find out more about the Technical Committee of the Ramenlappers, aka the RTC! Besides a lot of fun, this committee consists of people with 'bakken' of (padel) experience within the club. This comes in handy, because the RTC helps the Technical Coordinator with arranging training sessions, competition teams and sparring days and gives advice on everything padel related. We as the RTC are extremely athletic and fanatical! Don't see us playing on the court or training off the court? Then we are definitely scoring points for the Committee Battle, because we are going to win it!!!

Our chair, Luca van Enk, you probably already know because he is doing board this year. This econometrician's insight makes every Excel sheet sweat! Besides being a professional singer in the shower, this guy is always up for a game of padel. In fact, last year he set the record for most takeovers in a year at about 40! There is a 50% chance that this guy will make a statistics assignment for you, namely yes or no!

Then we come to Wisse van der Veen. As Technical Coordinator of the previous board, he is not to be missed within our committee. This experience expert is loved among the members as an enthusiastic trainer and is appreciated (and feared) when he is on the court. When playing your lobs, make sure you deliver a lot of quality, because otherwise this towering Meppel man will knock them out of the cage! By the way, Wisse always feels goooooooooood!

Megan Klieverik is a perfect addition to our committee. This top-level person picks up everything at lightning speed and is always able to help you with something. It probably won't surprise you that she is former intern 😉. Don't be fooled! She may not have an accent, but she is a real Twent! Megan is also our best beer ponger. In fact, last year she won the Ramenlappers Beerpong Tournament by hitting 9 in the finals herself! So are you challenging us for committee points? Then know who you are facing!

Our fourth member is Julia Bakker. As a former secretary, this gal has all the membership knowledge we need! Juul is always laughing, hihi, making you very happy yourself 😊. Are you in the IKEA sometime? Then take a look at the restaurant. After all, that's where she can often be found, when she's studying. On the padel court, she hardly knows what losing is, because if you leave too much space next to you, she places a ball right there! You can always make Julia happy with facts or pictures of giraffes.

We complete our committee with Thiadmar van der Wal. Don't know how to come up with a recipe for dinner? Then you can always turn to him for advice on microwave meals! As head match director of the ToeCo '22-'23, this topper knows a thing or two about scheduling. Many people have Instagram or TikTok as their most used app. Thiadmar, on the other hand, lives on MijnKNLTB. He knows everyone's rating to all but four decimal places. Are you at a drink and looking for Thiadmar? Just walk outside and you will find him.
