Internal Affairs - León Moreno Gutierrez
Hola friends!
My name is León Moreno Gutierrez, and this year I'm proud to call myself the Internal Affairs Commissioner of the seventh board of G.S.P.V. de Ramenlappers. I'm currently in my second year of my Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy at the University of Groningen. Besides this rather demanding program, I thought: "Yes, doing a board seems like a good idea." That's how I ended up joining the board of the best association in Groningen. Being on this board with Maxwell and Willem only makes it better; after all, the two do everything together.
Last year, I served on a committee at T.C. Veracket, specifically in the OTCie. Together with the Ramenlappers, we organized a fantastic tournament week last summer. Although I hadn't served on a committee within the Ramenlappers before, the role of Internal Affairs Commissioner suits me well. I enjoy socializing, I'm easy to talk to, and I think it's important that everyone feels welcome within the association.
I was born in Gelderland, but quickly grew up in beautiful Friesland. Through my father, I have a Mexican background. My Spanish may not be perfect, but what I did inherit is the padel genes. Padel is truly my sport. Two years ago, I picked up a padel racket for the first time, after having played tennis my whole life.
This year, I have the honor of serving as the Internal Affairs Commissioner on the seventh board of G.S.P.V. de Ramenlappers. I'm really looking forward to making it a fun and unforgettable year together with the board and all the members. There will certainly be plenty of fun!
