ToeCo '23-'24

To rejuvenate the committee a bit, Hijmen Knottenbelt has been appointed to be this year's ToeCo chair. Due to the success of the ToeCo in 2021-2022, he has returned to re-enforce this committee. After being a member for 2 years, he finally made the effort to purchase (or actually got donated) a padel racket of his own. Currently he is busy preparing for a boxing gala, but after that this young talent will be fully back with the Ramenlappers. Furthermore, Hijmen is a part-time pirate on the houseboat with his room of 6 square meters. If you are still looking for a great pirate story, this man is always on hand. 

If you don't have sports talent, you have to be fully committed to sociability. To this end, Rik Boer has joined the group as secretary. With a background in soccer, he entered the padel sport. This saves him meters! This tall blond god can often be admired at drinks, but also pays just as much attention to his study of the birds and bees. This dyed-in-the-wool biologist helps customers on the phone at Belsimpel. Of course, hard work is rewarded with a drink. However, after drinking one beer, Rik hasn't stopped smoking and this resolution can already be thrown in the trash. 

The treasurer of this committee this year is Laurens Goelst. Laurens studies economics and is from 't Gooi, which are the main reasons to give him the responsibility of the money. Having always played tennis, since last year he also took up padel as a new racket sport which is a nice change, only sometimes this still causes some tennis strokes on the padel court and padel strokes on the tennis court. This is the first committee he is doing and should be a great year with this ToeCo.

It is no surprise that our Amir Moussa is going to provide the activities/promos. We do not hope that these activities will match his own needs, because then we will be in town until at least 07:00. Fortunately, Amir is just as fanatical on the padel court as he is with parties. He plays at 3 different clubs, in Sneek, Joure and thus at the Ramenlappers. Outside padel, he is also very busy with judo and soccer. Amir also spends a lot of time searching for his things, since he always forgets or loses everything. To name a few examples, he regularly leaves the key on the outside of the front door and sometimes leaves the oven on all night. Then again, that can happen to the best of us. Fortunately, he has many other qualities that can compensate for this absent-mindedness. Another of Amir's special qualities is pole dancing. No doubt we will experience this as well, so brace yourself.
