This year, Accie consists of five students who will be organizing the most fun activities and drinks. We'll introduce everyone below.

Bo,
First, let's talk about our chair: Bo, or as we call her, Bo'tje. Hailing from the beautiful town of Bellingwolde, and yes, you can hear and feel that down-to-earth Groningen character in everything. No fuss, just a straight-talking approach. Our chair always puts her best foot forward during committee evenings. And by best foot, we don't just mean arranging things, but also the speed at which the drinks disappear.

Baking, shots, or a strange mixed drink someone found in the back of the fridge—it doesn't matter to Bo'tje. She's up for anything, as long as it's fun. During committee evenings, Bo is always up for a drink and a dance, often at the same time. And let's be honest: a chairperson who's just as involved as the rest is definitely something we wouldn't say no to.

In her down-to-earth Groningen way, she ultimately ensures that everything gets done just in time. In short: with Bo'tje as chairperson, you can be sure of one thing: it'll be fun, and it'll get done... somehow.

Veerle,
Also secretary, but to be honest, also our calendar and mother. Without her, I can tell everyone they'd be in for a very meager get-together! She could actually run the entire AcCie on her own, but that's just not fun, of course.

Although her roots aren't far from Groningen, namely the beautiful city of Emmen, she's completely at home in Groningen. Especially now that she's on a gap year and has plenty of time for socializing.

Besides handing out ANYs to Youp, which she really enjoys, Veerle definitely enjoys a drink herself. Luckily, she usually has complete control over herself, which the others unfortunately can't say.

With Veerle as secretary, you can be sure you'll have everything you need at all the window cleaners' parties and outings this year.

Youp,
Now we're moving on to our beloved Youp, also known as the man of the money, because Youp is the treasurer of our committee! He's sharp and not afraid to share his opinion. You wouldn't expect such a fresh personality from Youp, because he comes from the northern Groningen village of Muntendam! Youp grew up among the siepels, piepers, and weepers.

He's since swapped his Groningen "T" for an accent that won't stand out among the Vindicat residents. Youp loves to yell "VO!" all day long. He also fits right in with the snobs, because he never leaves the house without a Ralph Lauren shirt to go looking for deer, as he calls them. You've got to love that!

Besides yelling "VO," he also has plenty of other things to say while out and about. A few German words often come up after a few drinks. Every now and then, Youp slightly overestimates how much he can handle and has to be put in the time-out corner by Veerle and Bo. They're happy to do so, of course, for their beloved treasurer!

In short: with Youp as treasurer on your committee, finances are in order and you always have a fun evening!

Jolein,
Jolein, a medical student and working in the hospital. Within the committee, she's responsible for activities and promotion, and with her Canva skills, she always creates the most beautiful posters for the activities. Besides padel, she's also an active volleyball player. Always enthusiastic and driven, even with a glass of wine in hand, Jolein keeps things lively.

Teun,
Finally, we'd like to talk to our proud Twente native, Teun.
He's down-to-earth, straightforward, and not afraid to share his opinion. Teun can also say that Oldenzaal is the most beautiful city! Raised with the common sense of a true farmer among the cows and a good sense of camaraderie, he lets loose that down-to-earth nature in the evenings with a beer in hand. Because yes, Teun loves beer, anything that's cold, as long as it comes from a bottle or a vase.
After a few beers, Teun loosens up a bit, the Twente sayings naturally resurface, and every evening automatically becomes a good one. Luckily, he usually knows exactly when it's enough... usually.
In short: with Teun around, you have a down-to-earth friend and always someone who's up for a beer. And that immediately makes every committee or evening a lot more enjoyable.
