Treasurer - Stefan Dijkstra
My name is Stefan Dijkstra and this year I am the treasurer of the 5th board of G.S.P.V. the Ramenlappers. After a year of Accie and a year of Reiscie there was only one thing left to do, a board year! I grew up in Friesland, which makes me one of three Frisians this year. Besides always being up for a game of padel, you can often find me at the gym and I really enjoy cooking. (Some exercise against the board kilos can't hurt, according to Erwin).
This will be my fifth year in beautiful Groningen and in the meantime I have already graduated for a year. In the first four years, I completed my business administration degree, after which I enjoyed working as a Performance Marketeer at Fotofabriek in Groningen. For four days a week I dedicate myself to grow further in the world of Online Marketing. I work on the results of the web shops, collaborations with large parties and I try to transfer my knowledge as an internship supervisor.
I can hear you thinking: "Why don't you continue your studies? Or why take another year at the board?' After my internship I stayed on at Fotofabriek, where I get a lot of space to learn what I want to learn and in addition I can organize my time myself to a large extent.
After two fantastic years with the Ramenlappers, I wanted to give something back and I felt that one thing in particular was missing from my student period - a board year. This way I hope to finish my student period nicely! (Unless another study suddenly comes my way, you never know...).
Our goal is to involve all members even more in the association. As treasurer I am responsible for the financial affairs of the association. I see it as an enormous challenge to make all activities, drinks and tournaments as accessible as possible for the members. The Lustrum also brings financial challenges. I will certainly not shy away from these challenges and I am convinced that together with the board and all committees this will work out fine.
